Enjoy the benefits of a professional installation with peace of mind!
1. How much time will the TV wall mounting service will take?
We would expect a tv wall mounting to take between 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on surfaces and size of screen. If you have a larger screen over 50″ we may need an extra pair of hands so do let us know beforehand.
2. How much will it cost?
We can provide a free quote once we have seen the scope of the job, so please get in touch here.
3. Are my walls suitable for wall mounting a TV?
Brick, plaster or concrete walls also old fireplaces and chimney breasts are perfect for your TV installation service.
Walls made of stud plasterboard also lathe and plaster are not optimal for wall installation as they may not be able to fully support the weight. *
*If you have a flat or flush fitting TV bracket installations are pretty straightforward on all wall types however, things are more complicated for these full motion arm type cantilever TV brackets.
The beauty of these TV brackets is the ability to swing the TV out into the room when needed and fold back to the wall when not.
When opened out there is tremendous leverage on the bracket and then onto the wall, so if wishing to use a full motion arm type bracket on stud plasterboard wall it may need strengthening.
4. Do I have to do anything prior to my handyman appointment?
Please make sure that you have the right bracket that fits your Television, if unsure we can supply one.
Also make sure to show the installer exactly where you want your television screen to be placed, as well as the appropriate outlet (usually, directly below or behind the unit).
5. Where should my TV be wall mounted?
Your television installer can help you to determine where you should like your TV to be wall mounted.
There are 3 things to keep in mind: the power outlet, the location of your equipment (Sky, DVD Player etc), as well as where are you going to sit while watching.
In most cases, mounting a TV over the fireplace or radiator is not a good idea.
Also, a tilting or swivel TV mount can provide some flexibility in this particular situation in case you want the screen to be situated higher.
I will work a lot quicker and safer without any distractions, so please be sure to keep children and pets away from the assembly area.
